My Grandma was loving and compasionate, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She lived her life for her family and for Jesus. My Grandma was the kind of woman that everyone loved. She had many, many friends some of which I have known my whole life. My Grandma meant the world to me. I have so many fond memories of her that if I wrote them all down it would take me years :). I often find myself thinking about her wondering what she is doing up in heaven. We have a family joke that she is keeping the Lords' home spotless. She was a beautiful housekeeper. Her house was kept so clean you could have eaten off of her floors. We used to lovingly tease her about polishing the polish :). My husband liked to tease her about being a ~neat freak~ she would laugh everytime he called her that. She was an extraordinary woman and I have the highest of respect for her. I cannot in words describe how much I love her and miss her. I miss playing card and board games with her. I miss the talks we had. I miss her smiling face. I miss being able to do things for her. Because I lived in a different state, I never got the chance to see my Grandma before she passed away If there was one last thing I could have told her it would have been how very very much I love her and appreciate everything that she has done for me. Life is short make sure you tell your loved ones everyday how much you love and appreciate them. You never know what tomorrow will bring. |
